Ha Iljoon comes back as a member of another idol group with Choi Wongil (The kid who had it out for moondae). It's a short arc and Moondae doesnt really continue a close relationship after the controversy. They just act like acquaintances. The other gold, Heeseung, becomes important much later on in the story.
