Yehwa isn't mad at Baeksa for not being grateful for possessing his body lol
Baeksa is reliving Yehwa's trauma via lucid dreaming that is also messing with him physically. He's showing Baeksa what he had to live through and I can only assume the reason why is linked to Baeksa's ascension.
It's also why he still keeps Muyeon around despite being perfectly capable of protecting himself from potential harm. Yehwa's memories and Muyeon's connection to them are the keys to Baeksa becoming a full-fledged dragon.
I see what you mean and it makes total sense, but Yehwa looked down at Baeksa in the memory -- meanwhile Baeksa was murmuring to Muyeong that his stepfather was there -- and told the men to play one more round of Hide The Sausage when Baeksa clearly wanted all that to end. If anything, Yehwa would probably sympathize had it been anyone else, but instead he chose to make it worse. It really looked like anger to me.
Yeah, I'd be pissed, too, if I lived every single day of my life being relentlessly drugged and gangraped till I died lol
His anger is towards how unfair his life was and how Muyeon never protected him. We see this during the first memory scene where he tricks Baeksa into murdering Muyeon via delusion. He's tricking Baeksa with illusions of his lived experiences 'cause-- I'm guessing here-- he's basically a vengeful entity atp.
Yehwa only holds contempt for everyone. There is no sympathy towards anyone-- especially Muyeon for some reason we don't know yet.
We also don't know for sure if Yehwa wasn't just a stand-in for someone else who had said the same thing from the memory. It's hard to explain in a way that makes total sense since I suck with articulating shit, but basically someone had said that to Yehwa during that time and he was basically taking that place in the memory as a message.
So, once again, he isn't mad that Baeksa isn't grateful to be possessing his body, he's holding contempt in general for how he was treated. And if you meant that Yehwa doesn't like the fact that he's being possessed by Baeksa, I'll refer to the previous chapter where Baeksa referred to Yehwa's body like an empty vase. He was pretty much already dead and had given up on living. It'd be pointless to get pissed off now if his soul is now free to pass on now that Baeksa has his body.
Dude can you just back the fuck off?? Like seriously, can you comperhand that some people don't want to go to sketchy Korean sites to read raws when the story is already uplodaing here in English? Sure if the story is not longer updating and is abandoned, I will go and try to read it, because ther eis no other option.
Like why tf are you so pressed that people don't want to go and read raws?
I agree with you also maybe the reason why ml really wants to bring his stepfather is because he's so guilty for something we don't know yet and he maybe thinks that once the stepfather is back he'll get amends not realizing that he's only doing harm for his father. I'm hoping for deeper reason on why ml acts like this not just because he loves his stepfather, so far the author's doing a great job on stirring my curiosity with the current flow and art of the story
I can't anymore, I had to say it
His obsessive love for Yehwa is tainting his mind and he isn't thinking rationaly.
Doesn't he understand that the moment he banishes Baeaksa from Yehwa's body, he will be again bound to the whore house and abuse like an object?
Muyeong has shown that he is useless and that he cannot save Yehwa from working in that place, he cannot escape with him.
The only reason why Baeksa isn't abused right now is because they fear his power. If not for that power he would share the same fate as Yehwa, maybe even worse considering he is now a completely new person that they haven't tainted yet, so it would be more amusing for their sick and twisted minds. He also looks more "exotic" because of being a demi drake and his new look.
That power is the only thing keeping them from abusing him the same way they did with Yehwa (or even worse).
The moment Mugyeon removes Baeksa's soul from his step fathers body, he will just condemn him to get abused over and over again (probably as an excuse to pay back for all the things Baeksa has done).
He isn't really thinking about what's best for Yehwa, he is only being selfish because of his guilt for not being there to help him. But yet again he is failing him, because of his selfish desires. Baeksa isn't hurting Yehwa, quite the opposite, right now he the one suffering the same fate that plights Yehwa's body.
Baeksa staying in Yehwa's body is the best course of action right now for Muyeong. No one can touch or defile his step father anymore, and his soul can finally be at rest. He is still alive, but doesn't feel pain or humiliation anymore.
Did he not think the reason Baeksa was able to enter Yehwa's body, is because Yehwa wanted him to? That he as tired of it all? That he just had no will left to live?
I understand that all of them have lived (and still do live) tragic fates, but Muyeong just keeps making things worse decisions for the person he supposedly loves.
