Whoops I accidentally sent my last reply without finishing !! Hiii I think it has to do with culture!! A lot of Asian countries do not have proper education or representation of disabled people. They are also often terrible or lack entirely accomodations for disabled individuals. But I also must mention there's a huge divide in culture and life of hearing impaired/deaf people. There's even things like deaf only communities worldwide !! It also may come from culture in Japan being very polite+ non confrontational. There would be a interesting play between relationships esp romantic. For example a deaf/hard of hearing person may not realize it when they are making A LOT of sound like being super loud or speaking loudly. It's understandable but they may think it's inconvenient for a hearing person. But that's some thing that a hearing person can take into consideration before dating a deaf/hearing impaired person. That's just one of the multiple examples I can mention ! It's important also how lifestyle impacts the relationship.
Is deafness mostly inherited? Why did MC thought his parents might be also deaf? I'm genuinely curious
Also ML was asking 'is it alright for deaf people to date people that hear' why? Is it not common? I thought it's absolutely a matter of course, I mean if you're dating deaf person you will want to learn sign language for them etc. so communicating shouldn't be problem right
Btw this have nothing to do with this but there was friend of my parents that was blind and he always said that his wife was his eyes, it sounded so beautiful
They divorced though
