Normally I would agree, but---
The translation for this is actually decent despite being MTL (I'm fluent btw). The localization for this was also dead for 3 years, and we're only gonna get vol 2 finally in Sept.
I also own a copy of the official, and it's frankly obnoxious (both in font and translation choices) and is way worse than the first group's fan translation. Being official ain't shit sometimes.
Just let them upload both --- shrug.
I may seem like im exaggerating here but when you mtl smt you leave it to yourself its well known ,and uploading it has many disadvantages as some ppl who license stuff would fr take the machine translation and use it not paying real translators , i know what im saying cause im active in the scanlating community and its just not worth it
I think you just need to get off your high horse.
Yes I'm aware the uploader is editing off of MTL, but you can still have basic Japanese comprehension while using tools. As long as you understand the structure, it's not that difficult.
I've read the raws, and while there are some minor discrepancies, it's overall very decent. I'm saying this as a native speaker.
I hate the fact that the localized version is trying too hard to incorporate western slang and jargon, losing the original subtleties of the language, and wish that suffering upon no one. Having an option is great.
And I wouldn't worry about the translators not getting paid, or inappropriate translations being used, as the publisher for this one is a reputable print house. People are always gonna want physicals of manga they enjoy.
Idk why you're getting your panties in a bunch but good day, and saraba.
Please let's not mtl licensed manga that's coming with an official translation and I heavily don't recommend using mtl as ppl will doubt the quality of what was said and drop the manga
