Honestly I've noticed that too... And it isn't just a change with the artist it's also new artist. If I had to guess it's because a lot of the new popular manhwas have toxic seme and rape in them. examples: BJ Alex, jinx, dark fall, waterside night, roses and champagne, and so much more.
I use to love reading bl manhwas but after 2020 not only has the manhwa gotten toxic but also the community, so I've moved to bl mangas (black and white) because there is so much more fluff.
I really hope manhwas like sign, starry night, define the relationship, charry blossoms after winter, etc comes back cuz I miss colorful fluff ╥﹏╥
Fiction or not, rape is still rape and it's bad.

I’m not saying it’s good, calm yourself. I grew up in the fanfiction community and wrote dead dove fanfiction before, so the topic of rape is common when it comes to fiction and people normalize it because they can, it’s fiction.
My bad man, the way you wrote "because it's fiction" kinda sounds like how people say it when they like reading/ interacting with stories that are toxic and/or have rape.
