I understand why everyone is mad,,, but if you actually take the time to truly understand what they were saying to each other and their self reflections, then you would know why the author decided to end it like this. It’s a bittersweet ending and that’s ok! Not every relationship ends with them being together. Even tho they aren’t together, there are no regrets and they loved the time they spent with one another, despite their complex feelings. It doesn’t even need any epilogue or anything. It’s best to end it how it currently is. It’s a 100/10 for me. This author genuinely surprised me with how accurate they portrayed how people react and think when they’re in this kind of situation. The author got insanely good at it near the end lmao I thought this was just going to be a silly lil smutty ceo x secretary manwha, but this was a really nice surprise.

People are crying because they wasted reading 80 chapters of a series hoping for the main couple to end up together. It's fine if the author never promoted this as a romantic series, but it clearly was promoted as one. You can't blame people for feeling betrayed by the ending.

I personally believe that this is still considered a romantic series because the love was still there, even if it was one-sided. It may not have been a happy ending but it’s still love yknow? I don’t think it was a waste of 80 chapters. Some relationships just don’t go through. But at least they both tried it out and can say that they had no regrets
