This is late, but uh, if youre talking about antisocial personality disorder, then sure it's listed in the dsm5, but part of the diagnosis criteria is having no regard for the rights of others, like lying, stealing, arson, etc. I dont care for shaming mental illnesses, but its not like its a purely genetic thing that absolves people of their crimes. Its called a personality disorder for a reason; they arent psychotic (unlike Jennie who may have been hallucinating) and thus arent able to control themselves, they just dont care about rules and other people. That makes it difficult for them to function in society (thus being a disorder), which he doesnt have.
It's also usually associated with childhood trauma, which I dont think he had either. Point is, I dont know if really is formally diagnosed with aspd in future chapters, but his high functioning, lack of concern, shallow affections and penchance for manipulation make him more psychopath in my mind. There's a high comorbidity between the two so maybe he's both. Doesnt mean I dont find his attempt at romance hilarious (and completely immoral/illegal) of course.
They're definitely not the most wholesome pair, but we knew that coming in the first season. Like Wooyeon's parents saw there was something wrong with this kid from the get go, so no surprise he's an actual psychopath. But Choi Inseop, despite being an overly nice cutie, is also kinda wack. He guilts himself into blaming Wooyeon for the death of his friend Jennie (no statement about if there actually was any connection but doubt it) who he fought with because she was psychotically depressed and he was in love with Wooyeon, then decides to borrow a random guy's identity so Wooyeon would maybe remember his actual name, and then stalks him for however long before deciding to become his manager to uncover his misdeeds to the public. Like all of that is kinda fucked up and really is this lovelorn traumatized guy intruding on the life of this psychopath who at this point did nothing to him except be really attractive.
Doesn't exactly excuse the psuedo-rape, arm-grabbing to have Inseop vocalize his love for Wooyeon, and general ignorance of his own feelings, but thats honestly not unsual for many MLs unfortunately.
