I wanted to skim through this real quick but didn’t expect for me to read all of the chapters lmao. Anyways both ML and FL are frustrating in their own way. ML is a red flag for the non-con visibly and FL is frustrating from the way she solves things and thinks. Though as someone who currently read up to the latest chapter I don’t hate the ML. Those who just started or dropped it may not get why, but after reading all that he definitely tries his best in his own way. Don’t get me wrong he’s still bad for the non-con, the only reason why I ain’t holding a grudge is because I care for the FL’s feelings and she doesn’t give af about that tbh. Literally after the non-con scenes she carries on with her day and happily lives her life casually. She doesn’t think about it much and she genuinely does not seem to care much about it. She only ever brought it up twice and each time wasn’t because she was really mad at him for it but either because she liked him and was upset by thinking she’s a replacement or when she’s pretending to be mad. As well as when he actually held back, she got upset and wanted him to sleep with her.

The FL didn’t get mad at him for those stuff and didn’t hold it against him. The only con rn is that she’s currently in the running away arc. I wouldn’t have minded if this happened EARLIER and if she ran away because she was seriously upset about the previous bad treatment. But that wasn’t the case at all. It’s one of those dumb reasonings to run away: “I gotta go so that he can have his work position not threatened by me being here!” So she’s trying to protect him but at the same time purposely hurting him to protect him? Dumb logic. She doesn’t even want to actually do this so I see no point but wasting time ngl. If you’re gonna run away, at least do it for the right reasons or be actually mad at the person you’re running from. Not the whole idiotic reason of “I’m doing it for their sake!”
