Beware the Villainess is definitely one of my favorite stories. I love how Melissa comes in and just takes the actual FL and they end up best friends. Had Diana not been a bitch, the same thing could’ve happened with Hestia
"I Thought It Was a Common Isekai Story" has some cool interactions between the ML & FL.
At first is the worst (I hate the ML at the beginning) but then it becomes one of my fav couples, they become a team <3.. i prefer the novel but the changes in the manhwa are cool and the art its *chef kiss

I love topics like this where people come together to share things or stories they like, based of something the OP said, its just so wholesome. The Villaneis Live Twice is also a good one that fits the theme of being a woman of action, shes a badass. Also, what does ancillary means? Eng isnt my language and I had never seen that word before, I was going to ask in my first reply but I forgot lol (●'◡'●)ﾉ
I meant the ML almost never seems like a character the FL teams up with. He's more of a plot device or FLs stepping stone so she can become stronger. They never get stronger together, unlike the stories listed here. Hesita and Kael are a power couple, they work together so they can BOTH move forward.

I think you guys should try "the one within the villainess" it's my second ever villainess story it's Sooo Good! Spoiler: the villainess killed a God and etc etc just to make the original fl and MLS pay

That's true. While other villainess stories are getting adapted into anime like Bakarina. Hot take but I kinda hate Bakarina. She's too dumb, doesn't know etiquette yet every single person is obsessed with her
Another one I came across - "Another typical fantasy romance". Strong bold FL with a good relationship with the ML. ML is the fluffy teddy bear type. New fav of mine. I would definately recommend it.

It's soooo refreshing to see a story where the leads actually interact. I'm tired of reading stories where MLs are simply ancillary to the FLs story. FL acts> doesn't make it>panics> ML incoming> problem solved. I absolutely love Hestia. She isnt perfect but she is a woman of action.
The only other plots I can think of with similar FLs are Crimson Karma and Remarried Empress, which are also my all time favourites. Cant remember but there was another with a werewolf named Nine. Absolutely loved that too.
