Because back then being "fat" wasn't a bad thing it was a sign of wealth. And commoners were the ones who were "skinny" from lack of. Tho we read these story's with the eye of modern beauty sinny back then was bad. But it is true writers like to pick and choose when they want to insert that Because they alway draw the "good" nobility as modernly beautiful.
1st what happened to the history you were sure would be the end all be all 2nd where in that page did they indicate the child was running/why would he need to be running 3rd you finally showed yourself why are you so upset about a comment that had nothing to do with you. You were banished stay in the gulag with your passive aggressiveness
Agreed, also the OP talking about history and their eye of beauty was correct. Skinny was looked down on from ancient Roman times.
Don't get upset at the truth. Lmao, if you fat be confident about it or don't complain about it being a natural thing. It's not healthy to be actually obese, you can be big and beautiful though.

i get that the kid's a big bully, and that he's glutinously big to show that he's lived a more opulent life than her before adoption. and he's also bigger than her in general, but to do the huffing and puffing was a bit much. why do these writers try to make fun of fat people so much...when they do garbage like that it seems like they've never really interacted with a fat person and they're just writing stereotypes. that was low -very low hanging fruit- and it's worse bc the character is a kid. story is interesting but that was weird hope the rest of the story isn't like that
