I disagree. It is true I am used to stories that have the pronouns flipped (he for she and she for him), but I'm not used to characters saying "Why did you puke up a flower" when they should have said "Why did I puke up a flower" since they were talking about themselves and not the other person (the "subject" person is NOT interchangeable). It's the worst I've seen in a long time. You lose the best meaning when you misuse pronouns. My rule of thumb is, if the original verbiage does not use pronouns, then don't throw them into the translation willy nilly, an example could be (using the phrase from earlier): Why were flowers puked up?
Bro its been 5 months - i forgot abt this manhwa yet guess what… officials are only NOW coming and we are 30 chapters in! Idgaf about pronouns I have reading comprehension - just like you showed u can figure out when a pronoun should be “you or I “ since there are drawings for a reason! No one gives a shit abt your “rule of thumb”. This is an illegal manga site with FREE translation there are no rules. Some amazing mangas dont even get the chance to be translated, even badly! Get over yourself. LOL
I've seen this a lot on many other manga comments section on this website. Even if someone's first language really isn't English, why is that used as an insult or a way to try to demean someone? And even if these are poorly translated for free, why aren't people allowed to complain about the poor translation?
No matter the language, there will always be mean people. Being a person who was apparently educated by dinosaurs, I probably shouldn't feel sorry for those whose English skills are subpar. Is it wrong to want everyone who reads a decent story to understand it no matter what language is used? Sure I get irritated at the misuse of the language (at least I can tell the difference), but how do the people who don't know the language well feel, are they enjoying the story, even though it's wrong? Or is the confusion too much?
The translation is not even bad, stop being whiny babies, even the MC has more braincells than you - and that’s rare
