Pacing is weird idk

Is it just me or is it like jumping a lot like,
When kargo revealed his face, that was just glossed over? I thought she would react on the reveal like "president :O" but nooo.

Or when they confessed? Is that rlly a confession? He just casually said "i wanna be with u 4ever" and shes like "it sounds like a confession lol" and hes like "forget it oops lol"

Or when they suddenly got together too like when did she accept it ??? He just claimed her as her consort randomly and she accepted it.
Then when he learned to transform, like yeah they explained it in a passing thought l8r but that was so random, no buildup whatsoever.

Also the fact the heroine's ref recognizes mc (and probably prez) but the mc didnt connect the dots in her new life??? Idk like if she isnt gonna care, why did the author bother going through such lengths to focus on these details
