Agreed! But I think it’s from the trauma of being used that he puts that front up, and it’s not like garnet isn’t using him for her benefit (but like she needs to and she is trying to be better!! I luv her) so maybe later we’ll see more development now that the uncle is out of the way (for now). They haven’t had an actual heart to heart talk yet so hopefully it’ll happen soon bc i actually want them together
I love Fredrick but he makes me angry with how Garnet is trying so hard to make their relationship work and fantasizing about them being in love even though she doesn’t like him and he’s showing her nothing in return. Garnet is absolutely a sweet heart and I want them to be able to at least get along.
