Well, for some Japanese authors, age is just a number for them. There are a lot and I mean A LOT of Japanese bls out there that have literal pedophiles and a big fandom, they even have anime adaptations. I won't mention anything cause I might trigger some fans here, or some are aware but choose to ignore it cause it's been going on for years that it may seem normal now.
Exactly I know which anime you are talking about. And because of that I didn't watch that. I hate the blatant predatory actions that get ignored for so called "love" when it's fully wrong. Japan has this issue and no one seems to call them out on it
Tbh I don't have much hope. As Japanese authors don't seem to understand why it's wrong for a grown adult being with a literal child and they even romanticize it.
So it might be that Miya goes back on his predator tutor bf and it's shown in a good light.
