Yeah, sure it's sooooooo much better to be strong independent woman that live in loneliness and surrounded by a**holes, than be the same strong independent woman AND having someone that actually loves and supports you
Being a "strong independent woman w a career"... its actually nice to be able to rely on someone. Everyone needs rest. Career really isn't everything in life.

She's still a strong independent woman even if she chooses love? You guys seem to associate love and marriage with weakness these days. A person who is neither strong nor independent is someone who is an emotional and physical burden to another person or in a mutually unhealthy relationship of reliance/caring. It's someone who can't do anything for themselves and always needs someone else's help. Not that there's anything wrong with that, some people have circumstances like disabilities etc. No matter where she goes, our MC will remain strong and independent because she can make that pathway for herself.
That's disappointing that she stays like really, I really hate when strong independent women throw their career for just men
