It was frustrating at first that she didn’t realize his feelings for her, but like it was totally worth the wait.
Ngl, I kept reading for the plot. The whole god calamity thing was so interesting. It wasn’t too much on the romance which I liked. (It is a slow burn just an fyi.)
I wouldn’t rate this a 10/10, because I feel like it was somewhat rushed.(crazy enough) I believe they could’ve done more with the calamity kids. Not to say there was plot holes, but it could’ve been betterrr…They had such interesting characters that they could’ve done better with, yk? I’d rate it a 8/10. It wasn’t a typical reincarnation romance manwha. I mean, your master turning into a dude is a crazy plot in in of itself. Loved the idea and loved the characters. You get to connect with the characters. What the mage and “Chloe” went through was insane.
Thinking back, I don’t think this book was really romance. Obviously it is, but the author definitely focuses more on the action. Which I 100% loved. Don’t attack me, but I don’t think this was one of those type of manuhas that show them having babies. Like, the vibe this story gave was we trying to save the Duke, yk? It just never gave mushy and all about love. Like MUSHY MUSHY. Definitely love played a huge part.
To each their own I guess. I’m just not mad about them not showing the kids. I never expected them to have kids or even show em. They have gone through so much trauma they need a break.
