I don't have any preferences. I'm ok with receiving either. When I'm giving recommendations though, I like to put 3 or 4 titles that I think fit best and then add my list after in case they want more.
tbh lists always bang bc when ppl give me only a few titles they tend to be stuff ive already read but when im given lists theres a chance i havent read some of the stuff there hehe, i dont really like rereading stories too early since i kinda just memorize the plots and it gets boring unless like a year has passed since i last read it
Both and it depends! When I’m delving into a new genre, I prefer a few titles so I can read their best picks without having to choose myself. But if I’m looking for a style or trope in a genre I’ve read, I prefer lists bc more often than not I’ve already read all their recommendations.
