some of yall actually think therapy is going to solve all their issues immediately...like these TEENAGERS are heavily traumatized at such a young age, obviously they're gonna grow up to have issues that affect their communication with people. therapy can help them to go through their issues, but it's not easy to get through their issues when they grew up in a harsh & cruel environment. the reason why i'm saying this is because i'm seeing people commenting stuff like blaming haesol for not getting therapy?? ZERO media literacy please think about it!! she was abused and neglected by her guardians!!! obviously it's hard for her to understand emotions if she never got to experience a healthy childhood!!!!!!

Nobody is disagreeing with that, however there is a very popular saying which goes "heal your wounds, so that you don't bleed over people who didn't hurt you". It's a very touching statement, because often we end up using past trauma to justify actions. Ones trauma can only explain ones actions, they cannot justify them. Haesol clearly has intense ptsd and stuff suffers from her father's influence over her. However unless she heals from that, or at least tries to heal, she will end up hurting other people. Unresolved trauma breeds more trauma, till it becomes a never ending chain. Yeonwoo too has gone through intense pain and suffering at an early age, and he too was unwilling to change and stayed trapped in the past for a long time, however at least after the confrontation with his childhood friend, he is attempting to make a change. That is what matters.
Haesol hasn't even gotten to the point where she can even attempt to change. For her change is the scariest thing ever. This is where a therapist would come in. Her trauma and the underlying issues brought about by it, cannot and should not be the responsibility of her friends or her lover. However a therapist who is a professional and gets paid for that, is liable to help out.
Also my message is not a verbal attack to you or anything , i simply wanted to point out the reason why people who are commenting said stuff, aren't wrong

yea i get what you mean, and i totally agree with you. the problem is there are comments that literally say shit like blaming haesol because she doesn't go to therapy that just threw me off...like yes she should go to therapy, but comments that blame her for not going to therapy are just so weird especially since she's a teenager who probably don't have the resources to seek out therapists

Honestly it's a very complicated situation and a few lines with a general comment about a half ass solution, isn't it
