Honestly not blaming Taemin for wanting nothing to do with Woojin. Sure Woojin might have kept tabs on him, but didn't contact him during those times? I'm going to assume he has his own good reasons, but he's learning to appreciate Taemin more. Still want this to be a happy ending, but I'm sure we can all see that Woojin's still kind of a d**k, yeah?

I've been thinking about the ways of Woojin mind and honestly there is not a lot to go on. However one thing I do know is that he has this mentality that he has to have 'something' to be worthy of having taemin as a friend or whatever. He's thought like this since he was young because his mother kept calling him worthless and that he will nothing to give others. So I think he probably still thinks this but not to that extent. I know he still believes in this because in the scene when he is looking over Taemin on the bed he says he had nothing to give and was not able to protect anyone, but then goes on to say he's changed since. So I think this could be one of the many reasons why he didn't contact Taemin during their separation. Sorry for rambling I just like psychological discusses.

You're fine, and I completely agree with you; however, that doesn't really excuse his actions if you're trying to sympathize with the other person. Woojin may have his own traumas, but that doesn't make Taemin's less important. As you've said, he did say "he's changed since," but at point did he change? Could he not have contacted Taemin after that realization moment? Unless, he only realized this after almost losing Taemin. But, then again, he must have kept tabs on Taemin to even show up at the hospital and see "Taemin" (or his body with the switched soul) die. I would understand why Woojin is choosing to be selfish now, because he could not have been before; but, I don't like the methods he chose. He watched from afar and kept tabs until something critical happened. At the same time, while Woojin's watching from afar, Taemin had to struggle to survive by himself, believing everyone he left abandoned him. It wasn't fair for Taemin (from our or reader's view because we only got Taemin's side of the story). I read from another commenter a theory of how maybe Woojin chose not to involve Taemin in his life after being taken in by the rich father, maybe because it would have endangered Taemin somehow. Maybe Woojin had to accept conditions to have something rather than nothing in his life. I'd still really love to see what Woojin will say his reasons were for not contacting Taemin before.

Yeah I guess both us and Taemin would like to know Woojin's reasons for leaving so suddenly and never contacting him, even though he clearly kept tabs on his life to find out about his accident so quickly. I also have never excused his language, I still feel sour about the fact of how bad he treated Taemin before figuring out he was Taemin. I think this goes for all people that have traumatic pasts what they have gone through will cause them to become twisted, indifferent or whatever, and that isn't their fault. However what they do afterwards is their choice, but I guess it's different if they have a severe mental disorder which Woojin hasn't, probably. Although you probably get my point and I would really like to find out why Woojin really left and stayed on the sides lines for so long.
