Except he only put his guard up against the seme when the seme made mistakes, the other guy never got close enough to make any mistakes, so mc probably just treats him normally, like he would if it were anyone else. We know the guy is shady because we read the story, but the MC doesn't know. The moment Hyungseo does something mc doesn't like, he immediately backs off.

He was distrusting from the get go towards the top. And even when he found out about truth about the medicine he still acted the same towards both.
