I don’t get why you’re saying that? It’s not like the artist created the cgi horse themselves. They took a shortcut with their work, cutback on the quality, and used a downloadable digital item instead of prioritizing quality for their work. Drawing anything is hard if you don’t have practice. There are artists who suck at even basic proportions but still put in the effort to draw them regardless in order to gain experience, become familiar, learn the skills and ultimately produce better artwork. Take for example- the author of Junjou Romantica. I won’t criticize their effort because they DID put their heart and soul into their misproportioned artwork, and they got better over time! Comparatively, saying someone who slacked off and substituted a difficult scene with pre-generated computer data (that isn’t even of good quality) should have their shortcut appreciated- in a way that sounds condemning of the person making the complaint, is very unfair. I didn’t criticize the author as a person, nor did I say anything negative about the quality of the story. I simply stated a fact. The cgi horses are ugly and distract me while reading.
It’s not AI but a 3D model that was bought and not stylized to fit the manga. Seems like they chose the worse model imaginable for some inconceivable reason and just plopped it down, drew in their character and continued as if nothings wrong. It was probably the cheapest (or even free) model they could get their hands on ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
What exactly are those ugly misshapen horses at the end with thick legs? Ai generated art at its finest, urgh. Seriously why can’t authors ever just hand draw the horses? It’s distracting and it takes away from my enjoyment of the series.
