I feel ya. But I think it's the panel structure an the close-ups that are missing - the game just has a totally different vibe than the match against shiratorizawa where you even got the background and thoughts of the opposing team...I guess you can really see the difference between WSJ and an SW title...
in other sports mangas, I usually end up liking the opposing teams but like I can't seem to like touin cos they seem arrogant and shit and I feel bad... in haikyuu the equivalent(probably) of touin would be shirtatorizawa and I definitely love shiratorizawa but why can't I like touin? I mean I even ended up loving nohebi in haikyuu but something just really irks me seeing the touin team especially that arrogant looking goalie (づ￣ ³￣)づ
