I have a curious friend who, like the FL, picks up anything on the floor and puts them in his mouth to taste (rocks, leaves, barnacles etc) Told him if he ever died from one of his exciting gourmet adventures, I'd come to his funeral with his favourite flowers... dude is an adult man
