This could be true. It certainly doesn't add up when it's just the mc claiming that she was mistreated by the ml but the ml is having the complete opposite feeling towards her. Plus, i just cant get how she'd still love and even think abt getting back together w ml later just cuz he seems regretful abt it all rn. Hopefully this theory is true. Then the story flow wouldn't feel so inconsistent
I also feel like in the first chapter, there was something more in both their emotions when they both died. Something’s deeper than just one sided love, i do think that FL have memory issues because we don’t know what happened when she transmigrated to the other world; lots of fucked up shit could happen. And memory issues are the first thing I’ll worry about tbh, since the mind by itself isn’t the most reliable thing when dealing with trauma.
Tbh I think ciel is just supposed to be a little bonkers. Our girl says multiple times that in Korea, she didn't have the support of a loving family. That was literally her only wish before transmigration. So like in Korea when she was married to Ciel, she put up with, even accepted, his abusive/neglectful tendencies (she even explicitly mentions that), but now that she has a loving family she doesn't need that (which she also mentions) though does question whether she has potentially lingering feelings.

I get that Ciel is bonkers and all; but she didn’t get isked she transmigrated. The first thing I’ll worry about if I will ever transmigrate into another world and possess the body of another; is my mind.
Memories aren't that reliable, and I bet dying and waking up in another world would worsen the effects.
But it’s honestly just a theory so time will tell if it’s true or not.
Something doesn’t adds up, I feel like Irene have a memory loss… her death was traumatic enough so maybe she only remembered a certain time with Ciel but not their whole relationship. (And I’m saying it as someone with memory issues because of trauma)
Ciel is confused about her behavior, so maybe they had a lovely relationship after they solved their miscommunication problems before her death. Idk, and before you all come at me… it’s just a gut feeling I have and a theory that can be proved wrong.
