He already said why he didn't resigned and chooses to go in another team even tho he's not qualified. It's mostly on his pride or what kind of emotion is that, and/or he wouldn't want to feel that he go through years of hardship with false hope that he taken a right path and also another part where he'd idolize the seme. it's a much deeper situation for him.
And the family one, he just said on the last chapter, that he can't dispose anything else easily, he can't even decide if the things still useful or not to that point that he even took them everytime he moved out (even tho they're basically junks), unlike the seme who he thinks can. So, that's why he's jealous of other people who can do it too.

The most recent chapter shows that he got this job possibly because of his father, so I think not quitting is his defiance towards his family who don’t treat him with respect and his way of fighting back!
Surely, uke has other options to choose from? Mainly resigning? But he chose to get fckd literally??? So confused here. Sure hoped he'd get away from everything that makes him miserable tho. And why hasn't he blocked his family yet??
