Yaoi just means it's gay. It being a yaoi doesn't mean it has to be a smut. They're not profiting off the author, if you want to read the spicy scenes, buy the chapters on the official site.
Also, I'm pretty sure the person who's uploading the chapters here is the author themselves (or at least the first few chapters were definitely uploaded by the author).
Yaoi does mean it will have visible sex scenes, thats why we have 2 tags, yaoi vs shounen-ai. This would be considered a shounen-ai, as it is a BL bit has no smut, and at best hints at it. Thats always fallen under the shounen-ai category. Just like we have yuri vs shoujo-ai.
A lot of people however have been tagging Manhuas as "yaoi", when by default 99% are shounen-ais, as smut scenes arent usually allowed to be shown in chinese BL's. This being another example.
Personally idm the tags as I already know everything chinese = shounen-ai and know its the wrong tag, but many people do get their hopes up. Just dont tag shounen-ai's as yaoi.
Don't put it under yaoi and then start cutting out any spicy panels. Like wth? Are the uploaders doing that on purpose?
