No i think rather than FL's personality josei refers to the audience and again i agree this should be a shoujo bc she doesnt act her age and this feels like teen love thanks to her. but i'm guessing its bc there might be some sexual references and images on next episodes and shoujo has more strict rules but idk
You're probably right, considering the setting sexual themes are inevitable but it would be nice if josei wasn't just shoujo with smut. Do older women really want to read ab a FL who is completely at the whims of a man?

I'm 26 and can confirm, it was never cute but is even less cute the older you get hahaha this is largely why I only read manga for action series, bc romance is so far behind vs korean webtoons and manhua
