Hmmm, I feel like she would make a good auntie or ahjumma !!! But to be honest, it's not like Jiwoo's mother is a particularly good mom ... but he does indeed have one :)
Wdym she's not a good mom?? She worked a dangerous job just to find out what was up with jiwoo and almost died cuz she tried to protect her son
She left a minor alone for years without any stable adult figure in his life and led him to believe he should continue to live in fear that he was too different for anyone to accept him. Meanwhile she discovered there are others like him, stops her research for a "cure" for Jiwoo, and helps children she doesn't know. It is commendable to help children in need, but she has never ever done anything for Jiwoo. No one can convince me abandoning your child an alienating him to help other children who aren't even yours was for HIS own good. And after Jiwoo let's her know she's doing great in the awakened world and she doesn't have to worry anymore, she still does not go back to Jiwoo to resume living with him. She is most certainly not a good mom in my opinion.
