Nah... the worst for me... is she being a fricking virgin... after 4.... 4 marriages of about a year each... it makes absolutely no sense...
It disgusts me the length authors go to make mc "pure"... like... mc might be a flirty vixen with dozen of lovers and 5 ex-husbands and somehow still be a "virgin" and only loosing it to her "fated husband" on their wedding night. Yk oftentimes I see guys commenting and asking why most female readers are so fixated on BL... and even shipping 2 male characters in comics without romance, or why we wish no FL appears... And is kinda hard to explain to them... just how bad female characters usually are made... to the point we rather not have them at all...
And smut is even worse! It's super rare to find normal ones... it's either the possessed/cursed slút or a "normal", inexperienced with "low self-esteem" being sh and sa into acceptance as if that sheet is romantic! Yes! A thousand times yes! A good example is the hunter/modern dungeon genre.

The male mc's are usually cool, intelligent, ruthless and strong and oftentimes regressors with a grand goal like saving the world or an intense goal like revenge or saving a sick weak (usually female) family member. And they get strong even without the constellation/gods help and make them all fight among themselves to "support" him.

The female mc's ones... I know 4 of them. 1 is a housekeeper, 2 is a hotel manager, 3 is a civil servant and 4 is hiding her identity. 1 and 2 have almost 0 attack power and depend HEAVILY on the S-grade super strong ML.... 3 and 4 are strong... because their ML is... their constellation/god... and they need them to grow strong enough to be able to be with them... all 4 of them have absolutely no grand goal... they only want "a normal life" and do what they can to hide their power... and they only act when is extremely necessary...

Honestly it's so frustrating... even the one I thought would be a strong one... mc transmigrated to a hunter/modun novel, became the strongest S-rank to go home... instead was transmigrated into a Rofan novel... and the "system" make her go the normal "incarnated in a villain but im nice" route... instead of just using her S-rank powers to solve things... and in the end... she choses to stay in that world... because of... ♡LOVE♡... like wtfh??? I dropped cuz I couldn't...

Honestly the only "non consensual" smex I think is acceptable is when both are willing but drunk but not as willing when sober... and maybe the chinese trope of drgged/drunk/aphrodisiac one night stand that are treated as a one night stand they go to live their lives but end falling for each other. Honestly the chinese romance is so so so melodramatic it's funny... but rhe novels are better than the comics...

I think the best genre for me is the world-hopping one... like Cheating Man Must Die. They usually have stronger and smarter female mcs (with and without romance) and the Bls are way less rapey (when there is rape is usually because the one being "raped" needs to pretend they don't want it to not go ooc (out of character) and the one "forcing them" knows... and authors make this very clear. We also get a rare thing, some novels with male mcs which focus is romance, they incarnate in bad men who made women suffer, go back to before things went to sheet and fix their lives becoming better professionals, husbands and fathers. There's also a couple rare BLs where the mc is the top instead of the bottom... even if the story is super long (more than 1k chapters) I don't get bored cuz each arc have a different plot and background and I can stop between arcs and come bach later... unfortunately there's very few comics with this genre and usually the novels are better... but I end up going back to them when I get too tired of the comics bs...

The drugging Is weird tho... but I really chalk it to the melodrama... but only if both got drugged. If one of them is sober... I drop it. No excuses. But you really need to read those with a light heart because the melodrama is really exagerated.

Yes! World-hopping have the best mc's! I don't worry much about the other characters because it feels kinda like a satire of the nornal plots. Like there's one arc of one of them where mc is the girlfriend of a guy but this guy is actually the bottom of a bl reverse harem plot where his boss and the other tops that like him fight a lot and decide to "share" him in the end but not with the girlfriend. Then they destroy her life. And what mc does when she gets there? She buys the blood of someone HIV+, contaminates a ring with it and "accidentally" scratches him when breaking up with him. He gets it and pass it to the others and they start to fight pushing the blame between them, destroy each other and she goes on to live that life while enjoying the show. Honestly I would find such plot unacceptable in most cases. It's really bad. But on world-hopping after reading about all kind of sheet those guys caused to the body mc possessed and knowing the objective is revenge... I can accept it as fiction because it's being world-hopping introduces enough fantasy that I know it's all exagerated and unreal so even if the background is reality I don't feel as bad as I would if it wasn't.

And now this talk is making me want to go read some world-hopping novels...

It seems they all married her for their own reasons and definitely not sexual ones.

1. Husband one was vaguely stated to have no interest in her? Was introduced by her brother and may have had a lover(?)

2. Husband 2 was a playboy who tried (?) To engage but her being a virgin turned him off and he preferred the more experienced woman around him. Plus, their marriage was to have him escape a duel.

3. Husband 3 was abusive. Honestly surprised she didn't get SAed by him seeing as he was abusive etc.

4. Husband 4 was decent by comparison to the first 3. But husband 4 acted like MC didn't exist. Most likely married her for her title more than anything.
