Tbh, it's more like the author was either lazy to choose which ending or they themselves choose an ending. Making 4 endings is not lazy though since it means 4 times the art done.

it's the opposite of lazy. instead of one, we got several endings. it's not easy to draw all those to make all possible endings. no matter how professional they are, it requires effort and time
I feel like the author was lazy for making all those endings and not a single or double ending but well done.
