I think this thing could have been given great writing like Color Recipe of only it was given more time and care. The plot genuinely had potential, it just wasn't given a chance
A great analysis of the whole story, this is what I honestly felt about the story. It was good at first, until the ML confined the MC, but he didn’t suffer any punishment for his actions and was left off with a hook. It could have honestly been better if the MC didn’t get with him but instead the 3rd member since they had so much chemistry
Right? But I do feel like him and the third member have more of a brotherly, friendly type of relationship than romantic. However, if the manga was given more time, I think I can see them being together. Honestly he was the only sane person in this manga ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
i'm currently on chapter 2 and the moment jun said isshin was controlling every aspect of him kanye just popped into my head. if it could happen irl it could definitely happen in fiction
First time I've read a yandere manga and wasn't happy with the ending. The idea for the plot was good; the guilt tripping, stalking, controlling the other person. It really showed how toxic their relationship was, but I'm genuinely curious what went into the MC's head to fall for the guy who literally rapes him and controls his life? Crazy shit, I think it's the guilt and Stockholm syndrome that made him think he likes Isshin? And he's got this Adrien Agreste thing going on with following what his parents want, I also think he grew attached to Isshin bc he showed the attention the MC craved for? Still pretty shit tho.
The reveal of the ML's stalking didn't leave an impression, it wasn't that great of an execution. Everything didn't have a great execution. The lead up to the confinement part wasn't great, it reminded me of Color Recipe, except it was bad. Subtly showing the ML's obsession with the MC was fine, but the lead up to the "Climax" really wasn't great. Also, who just gets up after being put through that type of torture showing no sign of exhaustion? You know those NPC's in games? It felt like that.
The MC was likeable, the author was the one who killed him. We could have had an ending where he seperated himself from his parents' company and became happy with his life with he now has control over. It would have been great to see the ML regret his shit and learn his lesson, AND SUFFER, but no, we don't have that satisfaction I guess?
The premise of this story would have been great if it was left to cook more in the kitchen, or given more time to develop, everything felt rushed and empty.
Another case of "The plot is good, the writing/execution was bad."
