Did the artist change between season 1 and the rest of the manhwa? The newer art looks more generic and lacks the visual depth and detail the old art has.

Probably due to having to make so many chapters. That usually drains the artist to the point where you can see it in the art of you look close enough

That makes sense, thank you. The art at the beginning is very detailed and dynamic, unlike anything I've seen before in other manhwa. It's unfortunate that the stress made the artist downgrade their art

This actually happens a lot! As an artist, who hasn't worked on a long term comic but has some knowledge, the first part of the story is made with a big amount of time to start the process, some take a year or so before the release of a comic. There's more time to work and usually you want to get readers hooked so more detailed art is the go to.

After a while, while it does seem like art is " downgrading " it's simply because they are on a schedule. With deadlines come needed shortcuts so their simpler version of their style is better. Kinda like how an animated episode can go from simple animation to a scene where they clearly put all the budget into cause it's a big important scene. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
