Small gripe

Why do they always fucking give abusive tops sympathetic back stories and happy endings? Half the time it feels like they're just trying to set up an angsty spin off, like they have to make the abuser pityable so you overlook the whole "abuser" thing.

    I personally don’t think you’re supposed to overlook the abuse nor think he got a happy ending because he is ultimately alone because of his actions, however it contextualizes his actions extremely well because he is also a victim and so he does stuff to not experience victimhood again, which makes him an abuser.

    I will go as far to say that he has a hopeful ending, but it’s not a happy one because he has to deal with the society that isn’t ready to accept people like him. He has had a rough life. He will continue to have a rough life and I wish he had a story because that would be interesting
