It can be necessary tho, because it happens in real life so I don't see your point here
what i mean is it's not used to mawha is spread awareness about S.A. or victims. all it's used for is sexual content and something the readers can hopefilly can off too :(

And specifically in this case it was relevant to the plot, the guy was a weirdo who was clearly interested in him. But you are right that this wasn't handled great at all
the sa was so unnecessary, it doesn't bring any depth to the plot whatsoever. (ANY S.A. IN MAHWA IS UNNECESSARY ACTUALLY!!)
