Skylar did go too far by beating till Cirrus bleeds. Taking a breather by beating his partner isn’t right unless you mean something else. He should be flamed for the physical violence but as for the other stuff, he has valid reactions to. Just like how Cirrus deserves to be flamed for the things he did (blocking Chan-il’s number, throwing a can.)
The whole difference is that Cirrus doesn’t know about what trauma he has (not that it makes it right), meanwhile Skylar knows what Cirrus went through and saw his face after being beat by his father. And he still resorted to violence. People act like this is a first time he beat Skylar, but no, it’s not because even before all this—he has hit Cirrus although it was passed off for comedic reasons.
Cirrus is also in the wrong, but I would’ve been more mad if he knew about the trauma and brought Minwoo up knowing it fucked with Skylar.

If you were actually reading then you would have noticed that cirrus literally brought up minwoo even though he was literally crossed out in skylars year book which said enough already. Skylar didn’t know what to say so he just blurted out the first thing he thought of, and when him and chan il (i forgot his name) were in the bathroom talking together, skylar blushed but then stopped because he knew that he had cirrus already and felt a sense of guilt for it.
