It is an extremely slow burn with more focus on plot than romance.... Maybe you like more fast paced stories? I like anything as long as the MCs are not toxic.
You're right, I'm not a fan of long dragged out stories if the payoff is not worth the time. Idk about this story but after reading much of the chapters, it doesn't look wortg it
