He was being poison by the stepmother all the time and sort of develop a trauma eating food and he only eat as needed but now he feel safe eating soup or food in general and even enjoy eating thanks to myne new dishes

It's not because of Myne's new dishes but because he trusts her since she shows all her emotions in her face unlike every other noble. In the end of the novel, when they're already in a relationship, he even accepted Epha's food without testing for poison wich shows his utmost trust in Myne and her family.

Can't quite tell what the extra priest and soup ch is trying to convey? I have a few guesses but I need more clear picture. Anyone know?
