What do they mean there’s not plot and the art is ugly?!
Are those people reading with their eyes closed or something? What constitutes a plot for them?
The art is unconventional, but by no means ugly (but art is in the eye of the beholder, so they get the benefit of the doubt there), but the plot?
It’s there, plain as day.
At its most basic it’s about an undercover mission.
They’re one of my fave couples in BL/fiction.
I really like “The Beast Must Die” and one time someone asked why it wasn’t more popular and someone answered that maybe it was because the art was ugly and I was like “what?!”
I personally don’t think the art is ugly in that series either, but it’s also unconventional.
Then again I keep seeing people praise the art from Jinx and it’s not ugly, but I don’t think it’s the best. I actually think her BJ Alex art style is better than her new one, but again, art is subjective.
People may not like the art for this weird but I can’t believe they have an issue with the plot. *SMH*
I know right, not every story needs to have an amazing art but an art that fits, I think the style just fits the eplot and the characters perfectly while others want the art to be amazing and don't focus much on the plot, (I don't know if that made sense lol) but yeah some people read with their eyes not their minds lolol
hoes be like: "I hate shutline there's no plot and its ugly the art style is shit" girlll just say you hate stable relationships and would rather read SA and stockholme syndrome shit other than shutline. if you don't like it don't comment on it, the art style is rather pleasing its not ugly. smh, y'all prefer toxic and SA bs over this? y'all have no taste.
