Looking for something I read

I read this thing like years ago but I want to find it again. The plot was that the main character was bullied so much that she was going to kill herself, so she jumped off the edge of a boat. She was saved by a slime/tentacle thing and they ended up falling in love at the end of the story! The slime tentacle thing could shape-shift and usually tool the form of a young man with blue hair. I wish I could find this again!
