Maybe you're just used to really hard core stuff but this is so obviously yaoi(as in, MLM pairing) idk how you can deny it.
The romance is more on the slow burn side tho which is true but it's exactly as it should be imo

Maybe the artist takes it in another direction but you're right, if they don't then this shouldn't really be classified as yaoi
