I struggled reading past the couple fights in hopes of character development. Tbh I don't think the two of them changed anything, aside from them having heart eyes to one another.
Or maybe there actually was a character development that I missed, but judging by how they are acting through the situation in the 80s chapters, I don't see them/I don't remember.
