I agree HEAVY. I was so interested in some relationship forming between Hajoon and Professor Seo at some point but never really got it which sucks. I feel like the manhwa ‘Passion’ did a really good take on the male lead not ending up with the uke like how it usually goes in BLs like this.
For this one, though, the author just seemed kind of lazy. It felt half baked at most ;;;
this story is such a wasted potential. it started really interesting and promising and baited me with unusual dynamics between the three main characters but ended up as a stupid cliche romance story that was honestly so boring to read. uke was so annoying at times that i was honestly waiting for hajoon to smash the professor (or the other way around) because they actually had some chemistry and interesting dynamics, but nope.
professor seo was the only character that seemed to be at least a little interesting with all his manipulations and scheming, and using other people as he pleased, and i honestly wanted to learn more about him (why is he like that? what makes him want to use other people like that? him being simply “bored” isn’t enough of an answer to me lol), but of course he had to change his personality completely as soon as he was getting that dick in the side story, and become a pliant sub who just loves to be fucked in the ass completely mindlessly. the rest of the characters were honestly so boring, no personalities, no backstories, like i really don’t know much about their lives before they came to the university (except for professor seo and his side dick, but that story was so cliche and boring and honestly didn’t add much in terms of characters’ past beside explaining how seo and this other guy met) and it makes me want to care about them even less. hajoon’s only personality trait was to get with eunwoo and that’s all. eunwoo was annoying most of the times and had zero chemistry with neither hajoon nor professor seo. but i think the worst part of all of it was that there were virtually no repercussions for professor seo’s behavior, like what he did was very much illegal (not to mention immoral) but after they part their ways he doesn’t take any responsibility for toying with his own students like that and instead gets a new job, with eunwoo and hajoon still being very much respectful towards him. i guess maybe it’s a cultural thing with all the hierarchy and stuff like that, but i just hate the fact that eunwoo and hajoon forgave him like that and never really mentioned how fucked up the things they did with him were after they got together. like come on. and the sex scenes other than the ones with the three of them at the beginning? boring and repetitive as hell.
i honestly wish that the story was more focused on actually forming and then exploring that fucked up relationship between the professor, eunwoo and hajoon before reaching the climax and point of conflict where the trio breaks up. (and i honestly wish it was hajoon and professor seo who would be together in some fucked up and toxic relationship, at some point in the story at least)
please just give us more threesome/love triangle stories where the two pursuers/semes end up together instead of with the uke.
