Nah, it's just a silly misunderstanding that made them brake up about how ML thinks that his possessiveness towards MC is like hurting him so he thinks that he doesn't like him or does not deserve him ... Long story short, he didn't realise that he had deep feelings for the MC and thought he hated him while actually he was head over heels for him .
It's like ..
HJ: I want to possess and make him feel pain = then I'm a bad person = I don't like him . but then he was like , I don't want anyone to have him but me . I don't want him having contact with Liam... etc
