She did say that if she didn't come back with anything then her sister will torment her or something. She doesn't have a lot of power so of she refused she would've gotten like, idk tied to a tree for 3 days?
I also interpreted it that way. Sounded to me like she knew it was dumb, but did it anyway since the consequences would be worse.
