Seriously how the fuck can anyone read this and root for the "romance" or think Zhenya is hot? Like I get that this is fiction (thank fuck) but your taste in fiction does say something about you regardless of how much you want to compartmentalize. If you see extreme rape and the rapist leaving his victim to die and that resonates with you, get help. Like real help because shit isn't normal.
It's fine to have morbid curiosity and want to see where this story goes, I do as well sometimes (I need a break from this shit every now and then) but actively rooting for the rapist to get with the victim and thinking that would be a happy ending is psychotic
