it's always like that and it really ruins the whole story for me hoping they stay as best friends only
Yeah like fuck why can't we have good platonic relationships between men and women in there stories esp as someone who adores the found family trope it frustrates me when these stories act that you can only have familial relationships if you're blood-related

Despite the story literally describing them "as close a siblings" and how they really do act like siblings at some parts, because the white-haired boy is on the cover, I dread they'll forcibly turn the relationship romantic. Or boo, turns out the white-haired boy had a crush on her for the longest time. Boo!! I'd find it so much more interesting if the two really are and stay as best friends only. There's no need for romance between them.
Needless to say, I'm rooting for the one with black hair.
