If you don't want to see those you can skip to chapter 30. Nothing of importance happens before those it's just the top being a kinky guy. After that he turns into a teenage boy who's in love for the first time, but they aren't dating yet there so it's like the beginning of their story
Honestly for the impact of that redemption arc it was kind of... important? It would've been pretty mild otherwise.
