I finished the manga on a different website, and if you want to find out what happens, continue reading, if not, major spoilers ahead! . . . . . . . . Joker keeps raising Bruce, and then the Riddler comes along and pieces everything together. Sort of a time-skip happens to when Bruce finishes kindergarten, and there is a graduation ceremony where the Joker and Harley attend. On the day Bruce graduates kindergarten, he makes a touching speech about wanting to become a company owner and a person that upholds justice at night (basically Wayne Ent. & Batman). Anyways, he then gives the Joker and Harley a handmade medal (made from the lid or jars). The graduation ceremony ends and the Joker, Harley and Bruce was walking in an alleyway, and the Riddler comes out holding them at gunpoint exposing their identities. (And I think you can tell where this is going). The Riddler shoots Harley (the pearl necklace snaps) and then the Joker. Bruce is crying, gets a small flashback to Thomas and Martha Wayne’s death, and there is a box the Joker was holding that has fallen on the ground and the Riddler picks up. Inside is a the Bat Suit, and a letter addressed to Bruce. It’s essentially about the Joker reminiscing about Bruce growing up so fast, and wishing him well (since he graduated kindergarten and is going to move onto elementary). Bruce listens while crying in the rain and then he turns back into the Batman! Punches the Riddler, and leaves him dangling for his life. Then, he gets held at knife point which he turns around to find out that it’s the Joker and Harley is not far behind him too.The Joker and Harley survived because of the jar lid medals Bruce made for them (bullets didn’t penetrate through). Bruce is confused and doesn’t exactly remember anything. Joker says that this must be the joke. And they return to being nemesis. The end.
Honestly the ending was pretty sad for the Joker considering he raised Bruce as his son for some years.
