Exactly, especially after talking about beeing God parents ro the other child. And why would we get a new story about charrs child and not Elias?
Well, TL did say the second story was written before the first. Many elements were changed between both, so I think it’s safe to say it aren’t canon for the author anymore. (they seem to be going for a happiest route)
I'mma just pretend the second story or whatever it was, is in an alternate universe. There was not one mention of Elias or Tobias, Tyson. Yeah, Def a different universe where everything went to shit
