Y r second MLs are soooo much better than the ML but in the end isn't chosen?!

The toxicity helps in building up caring character in these 1st leads and it's imp for the story Later on. They don't know how much they miss or treasure smth untill they lose it. So 1st Leads show growth.
2nd leads are just clingy and desperate*change my mind* I don't believe they don't have any ulterior motives it's sus af

idk 2nd leads are just built fuckn adorable, some are nice but the ones i feel bad are the adorable innocent ones
